As the designated freight forwarder and customs broker for the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Pacific Customs Brokers and Pacific Overseas Forwarding has accredited Freight Logistics Coordinators at the VANOC Logistics desks located at all Olympic Venues. Our freight concierge staff has been educated on all aspects of the security lock down period, the VANOC Master Delivery Schedule, restricted hours access, and the Canada Border Services Agency Special Remissions Order. Last Mile / First Mile Services
We recognize freight forwarders and customs brokers will have requirements to move freight for the Games. Without accreditation or direct access to the Olympic Venues, critical deliveries may be challenging or impossible during peak Games time. Pacific Overseas Forwarding will have pre-authorized access for deliveries to Olympic venues, hence the creation of the Last Mile Service. We will take receipt of your cargo at our designated secure facility and route direct to the Olympic Venue. Our accredited fleet of vehicles and drivers will fulfill scheduled delivery and/or offer direct to venue service. Following the Games, Pacific Overseas will deliver the freight from the Olympic Venue to our secured facilities for retrieval or on-forwarding. As well, we'll accommodate deliveries to off-site destinations per the customs brokers' or freight forwarders' instructions.

Secured Facilities & Storage
Pacific Overseas Forwarding Inc. has secure warehouses that are dedicated for the Games. Storage space is available for receipt, transfer and export of freight. Truck load, container load and consolidated Games related shipments will be accepted. As well, we have a secured bonded yard for storage of containers and trailers. We will require advanced notification if you wish to book space for storage.
