Accounting Assistant

Pacific Customs Brokers is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. We are a group of diverse companies operating in both Canada and the United States. All accounting is processed from our Surrey office.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of 3 year of hands-on related accounting experience is required. Accounting experience in a multi-company environment would be an asset. As well, it would be beneficial to have some experience with the brokerage/freight industry. The successful candidate will have or be working towards their Accounting designation.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Processing A/P freight invoices and payments
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end data entry
  • Maintaining organized e-records of all invoices/statements
  • Preparing administrative deposits
  • Preparing GST and PST filings
  • Maintaining inventory records
  • Processing and reconciling credit card transaction
  • Other requested administrative tasks as required

This position is located near the Pacific Highway Border Crossing and there is no public transit to this office. A reliable vehicle is a must.
