What to Expect when U.S. Customs Knocks at Your Door

If your business is exporting or importing goods into the United States as a Resident or a Non-Resident Importer (NRI), you should be aware that at some point, you are likely to be selected for an audit process by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Pacific Customs Brokers is offering a seminar on evaluating your understanding of compliance with Customs regulations. This seminar will focus on the differences between voluntary and enforced compliance, the expectation of “reasonable care”, the potential cost risks of non-compliance, and best practices. This session will be of interest to all importers, non-resident or resident business owners, controllers, operational and compliance managers, purchasing managers and logistics managers. Included with your registration, Pacific Customs Brokers will provide a free 30 minute consultation at our office or by phone with advanced booking (bookings taken 14 days prior to date of seminar to a maximum 7 days following).

Fee: The cost of the U.S. Customs Audit session is $95 CAD plus tax. The cost to attend a combined U.S. and Canada Customs Audit session is $145 CAD plus tax (breakfast and lunch included). Lunch is served at 12:00 pm.
