Clearing regulated products into Canada can become more challenging if you do not know how the interaction between the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) works. In this seminar we will review what is required by the CFIA, the entry process at the border and the different reviews a shipment may undergo before release. Shipments of CFIA regulated goods cross the border and get delivered daily; however, customs cautions that this does not confirm a shipment's 'Released' status by the CFIA. If you import regulated goods in both directions of the border, stay the full day to learn about the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and receive a discounted fee.
