Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)) will experience a temporary sytems maintenance Sunday December 8 01:30 - 04:45

Who will this affect? All clients and service providers who transmit trade data using EDI. This includes: all incoming data or outbound messages such as acknowledgements, reject messages and notices, e.g. RNS, Completeness Notices during this time.

What does this mean? CBSA will not be able to send or received inbound and outbound messages.

When will my shipment be cleared for entry? CBSA will resume operation and shipments will clear at the end of this maintenance.

What do I need to do? Importers and carriers should be aware that although the entry submitted by the customs broker may be in received status, we will not receive accept messages until the maintenance is completed. Ensure you check the status prior to arriving at the port of crossing.

Pacific Customs Brokers will continue to communicate with CBSA on its system's outage and update this notification as new information emerges. Once operational, this message will no longer appear on our website.
