Job description:

Since 1916, Pacific Customs Brokers have been the go-to experts of international trade services, and we are looking for a superstar Graphic Designer to join our team!

This dynamic role reports directly to the Manager of Marketing and Communications. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as a key member of the broader Marketing team, while also receiving invaluable mentorship and strategic guidance from our experienced Senior Graphic Designer. This position will help champion compelling graphic design and comprehensive marketing initiatives across our portfolio of three distinct, yet equally exciting and rapidly growing organizational groups.

PCB Global Trade Management: This includes our international trade service companies including PCB Canada, PCB USA, and PCB Freight Management. You will turn intricate customs regulations, tariff schedules, educational content, and supply chain data into easy-to-digest materials, including infographics, guides, images, and videos.

The Derby Bar and Grill: Yes, you read that correctly. This international trade company also owns and runs a restaurant! You’ll design menus, event posters, social media assets (print, video, digital), and promotional materials for our restaurant.

Our Internal Community: Marketing isn’t always outward facing. Our staff are a cherished part of our organization, and we want to continue fostering our awesome culture! You will design internal newsletters, and culture-building assets that keeps our team engaged and proud to work here.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design materials for digital, social, and print media, ensuring they align with our brand voice across our group of companies.
  • Prepare and manage visual media on the company intranet, including content creation, posting, and ensuring all assets are current.
  • Assisting with the formatting and template maintenance of sales presentation materials, branded forms, and learning center slide deck templates.
  • Maintain proper file management to ensure the bank of assets is accessible to all team members.
  • Short form video filming, and long and short form video editing.

Key Requirements:

  • Certificate or degree in graphic design.
  • Minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • A portfolio demonstrating sophisticated brand presentation and experience with assets containing substantial text.

We're located at the US/Canada border crossing (176th Street and 1st Avenue) in South Surrey/White Rock. There's no public transportation to our office so you must have a vehicle to get here.
