CARM Services and Resources

We Can Help.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) released the CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) system in October 2024. This new system created a fundamental shift for Canadian commercial importers, as when it went live, those business entities began to manage the entire financial element of their imports, including taxes, post-entry corrections, and financial securities.

For all the details you need to know about CARM and the services PCB can provide to support you, please read on or fill out the form to have one of our CARM specialists get in touch.

CARM Payments

For many importers, avoiding the added work involved in managing your financials is the entire reason they began working with a broker in the first place. Our CARM Payments service allows PCB to facilitate and process your financial responsibilities and importer accounting through your business’s CARM Client Portal.

This Service Includes:
  • The monthly payment of duties and taxes owed within your CARM Client Portal*
  • An easy-to-understand statement report
  • Optional reconciliation of the current month’s SOA transactions for high-volume importers using multiple brokers

*Based on the account balance statement shown in the CARM Client Portal, CBSA processing times may impact the amount owed.
