The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) has announced a strike involving approximately 155,000 federal government workers, including 35,000 employees of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), and around 124,000 employees across various government departments and agencies.

We have been in regular communication with officials at the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA has confirmed that they expect to maintain services for travelers and businesses in the event of a strike. Please expect processing delays with regards to A48, voluntary entries, RMD corrections, and re-manifesting. Late Accounting Penalties and the potential for AMPS are possible outcomes.
